- Own backend architecture decisions, including data modeling, service boundaries, and integrations
- Lead development of core features end-to-end, from design through production rollout

- Participate in technical planning, estimations, and architecture discussions

Your profile
- Strong expertise in Java with a deep understanding of the JVM ecosystem; Node.js and Python are a plus
- Proven experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA for data access
- Solid understanding of event-driven architecture with hands-on experience using AWS messaging services (SNS/SQS)
- Demonstrable skills with RDS MySQL and PostgreSQL, including query optimization and performance tuning
- Basic knowledge of streaming with Amazon Data Firehose and Kinesis Streams
- Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Experience with AWS services (S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS) and infrastructure as code (Serverless Framework)
- Hands-on data engineering experience: building and maintaining pipelines, ETL/ELT processes
- Experience using Claude Code for AI-assisted development and agentic coding workflows
